Fall Trout Fly Fishing is a Fantastic & Beautiful Adventure Written by Mark Seder
What a great time of the year to visit the Shenandoah Valley. Not only are the leaves turning into reds, yellows and oranges but the trout are turning on for fall feeding. After a long hot summer the cooler temps and waters have the trout active and hungry. The best Trout Guide inthe Shenandoah Valley, John Roberts, of Llewelyn Lodge is ready to take you on a fly fishing adventure you won't forget. No matter if you are a beginner or expert, John can put together a trip that you will be talking about for years to come.
John says this about October, November and December Fly Fishing:
You can't beat a flyfishing trip to a Virginia trout stream in the fall, foliage colors abound and the wildlife viewing going to and along the streams is great. The Va. Dept of Game & Inland fisheries is and will be stocking all of the Special Reg and delayed harvest streams in early October. The flows this Fall are some of the best we have seen in years. We always take the biggest trout of the season in the Oct-Nov-Dec.period The mid 60-lo 70 days are still great for taking trout on top. Just contact me and to book a trip. All of the really big trout we caught last year were taken on some inclimate type days with highs in the 40's.
